Stockton United Methodist Church will offer two book study opportunities this Lenten season. Starting at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, you are invited to gather at the table with Jesus and his disciples in the Lenten study “The Last Supper: Conversations That Led to the Cross” by Will Willimon. Save burned out Christmas lights to recycle at Stockton United Methodist Go Green Team’s Annual Residential Light Bulb Recycling Drive in February. Light bulbs are 100% recyclable. Residential Christmas lights, CFL and LED lamps, and incandescent light bulbs recycle for free. Bundle Christmas light strings (with bulbs) and tie off with the cord; no plastic bags, please! The Stockton Area Ministerial Alliance is excited to announce the Ozarks Food Harvest Challenge Grant, a powerful opportunity to stretch your donations further. From now through Thursday, Nov. 20, every dollar you contribute to SAMA will be matched dollar-for-dollar in food credits by Ozarks Food Harvest, up to $2,500.
