SUMC Honors Vincent's Decades of Service

On Sunday, April 26, Stockton United Methodist Church celebrated Jaqueline Vincent's many decades of faithful service as music director and organist with a special announcement: Missouri composer Mary Lynn Lightfoot has accepted a commission to collaborate with Vincent on an original choral piece.

The work will reflect a favorite hymn or scripture of Vincent's, and will stand as a lasting tribute to her years of dedication at SUMC and throughout the Missouri United Methodist Conference — a gift to be performed and cherished in congregations for years to come.
