Love God. Love Others.

Stockton United Methodist Church - Worship Service at 10:45 a.m. Sundays

How Can We Love God?

Gather:

Gather regularly in passionate, Spirit-filled worship. Pray together and care for each other. We are individuals called together to be a church. We acknowledge the loving presence of God wherever we gather.

Grow:

By grace through spiritual disciplines, such as Bible study and prayer, we are growing toward God’s perfection.

How Can We Love Others?

Go:

Go in to the community to share the gospel boldly and kindly with both words and actions. Express our love to everyone in the church, neighborhood, and the world. Do no harm and do good. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world

Give:

Give ourselves up to God’s mission by loving acts of
compassion, and serve joyfully, giving our time, talents, prayers, and donations to work for justice in Jesus’ name.

Children's Ministry

Deborah Campbell

Deborah was born and raised in Missouri, but lived in Colorado for many years. She moved back to Cedar County in 2023. Her professional career included roles in civilian law enforcement, serving as a UMCOR Volunteer Coordinator, and various administrative positions.

Deb has been involed with the United Methodist Church's children's ministry since she was a child attending Sunday School, herself. In addition to teaching Sunday School, Debora has served as Youth Ministry Coordinator, Children's Ministry Coordinator, and VBS Coordinator.

"I believe that Jesus instructed us to welcome children, protect children, and value children," she said, adding, "Most importantly, to love them. I am committed to providing children a safe, loving, and kid-friendly environment to learn about Jesus and grow their faith."

Deb said Children's Ministry is not just about children, but is about nurturing the whole family, which Stockton United Methodist Church recognizes comes in all shapes and sizes.

Children's Ministry starts at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday School, and at 10:45 a.m. for the regular church service.
