Saturday, September 10, 2011, 26 SUMC volunteers joined hearts and hands with other Missouri United Methodists in a weekend of community service. They painted the Stockton Middle School basement stairwells and hall, trimmed shrubs and weeded, weed-whacked at the high school and bus barn, and laid retaining blocks along a middle school sidewalk.
They also washed windows and painted outdoor benches at the SAMA Thrift Store.
